InDesign Photo

Web Photo

Filtered Photo

The first photo is prepared for an InDesign document, the second for the web, and the third has a filter applied to it. In order to prepare these photos, they first had to be uploaded into Photoshop. If the photo is not upright, the canvas must be rotated. Then the photo size was edited to fit the necessary proportions.

To achieve maximum quality, brightness, colors, and other levels can be adjusted. For the photo to be appropriately prepared for InDesign it should be around 180kb. To accomplish this, the photo must be saved for web or devices where the photo properties can be changed and the quality and size can be changed. The same process was followed for the photo prepared for the web, except that the final product should be between 60-75kb. Finally, the filtered photo was prepared in the same way, but had a filter applied to the final product.
